Why Did I Choose A Different Path

In the new emerging economy more and more people are looking to the internet in hopes of earning income online, and many of us decided to lead the way for those that want to follow, so it might help some to know why did I choose a different path from the traditional workplace?

 

With over thirty years of traditional sales and sales management experience I am well acquainted with what is required to be a sales and marketing professional in the traditional business world.  Yet the unique ability of the internet to compress time and space in ways that allow for the generation of more and quicker results is a powerful appeal.

 

Unfortunately for many, there are required skill sets and a definite mindset that is needed in order to achieve the goal of both time and economic freedom.  Too many people are simply not equiped to handle the challenges of working from home without the supports of a traditional employer.

 

A great way to show people how to transition from traditional employment to working online is to allow them to turn existing household expenses into sources of income.  While there are a number of ways to do this, the place I recommend people begin is with their wireless service.  Many of us habitually use our smartphones and rely on them as a primary tool for not only doing our work but also for much of our lifestyle.  The wireless service bill is usually among the top five biggest monthly expenses for many households, so it can provide a big "payraise" just by eliminating it!  And what can be easier as a conversation starter than talking about what we all already use as one of our primary communication tools?!

 

Let me demonstrate the power of "YES" as a way to having people want to do business with you as either a customer or a business partner OR both. Here is the kind of conversation I have with people I meet.

 

"I work with a cell phone company that is expanding in this area.      We are a cell phone company that is using some of the major carriers and we are doing some pretty things.  We are trying to save people a lot of money and I have a quick survey… only four short questions… if I can have a moment of your time I can definitely make it worth your while, okay?

 

Okay, here are the four quick questions… I will make this fast.

 

 

1.)  Do you have at least one (1) cell phone in your household?

 

2.)  Would you consider switching service providers IF you could use the same network of towers yet pay less … or even nothing… for your cell phone service?

 

3.)  Would you say that your cell phone bill is one of your biggest monthly expenses? (if necessary, does it make your top five monthly household bills?)

 

4.)  If I told you that there is a company that uses the towers of the nation’s largest carriers and it has a way for you to get free service… and even some money back in your pocket, each month, would you be willing to watch a short video?"

 

IF THEY SAY “YES”

 

Then I say, "Let me give you a website where you can go take a look at it." (or provide a telephone number to a recorded teleconference)

 

Because it is easy for my customers to earn free wireless service by referring just three people to this program it is easy to build a customer base without ever having to ask anyone to incur any out-of-pocket expense... they are already budgeted for wireless service!  And very often once they see how easy it is to eliminate their wireless bill then they ask about the next logical step of earning extra income by simply doing what they already know how to do... refer customers to this service!

 

Many of you reading this will alreday have something that you are working to promote and I wish you tremendous success with your primary focus. Yet if you can add an additional source of income based on something that you are doing already then imagine how easy that is to replicate!
