How To Insert An Image In A Press Release

Published on 10/24/2016
For additional information  Click Here

Here are the steps on how to insert an image in an IBOtoolbox press release.

  • Position the cursor in the Content Editor box where you want the image to be placed.

  • Click on the picture icon in the tools bar of the content editor.

A pop up box will appear that will ask for the "source"... insert a url address link to the image you are wanting to display.  Many images online will allow you to see the "source" by "right clicking" on the image and clicking on "copy image address".

The pop up box will also allow you to insert an image description.

The final perimeters are to accept the image height and width based on the default settings in the pop up box or to insert the dimensions you prefer.

  • Click "okay" and the image should be inserted in your press release.

Learn More

When you save your IBOtoolbox press release you may see the image space shaded over, but it will properly display for anyone that links on your press release link.

You can also make the image "clickable" by clicking on it to "select it" and then click on the "chain link icon" in the editor tool bar.  Fill in the information boxes... it is usually best to make the "Target" select be "A New Window".  Click on the "Learn More" image that has been inserted and it should open a new tab to the new IBOanswers website.

If you are wanting to use an image that is on your computer's hard drive then you will need a hosting site to upload the image where it can be stored.  A good resource is ... you do not need to register an account in order to upload an image and generate a url link for the image.
