Welcome back, let's get back to business about some more income producing affiliate stuff eh!
To become an affiliate marketer you will need three main components...
1. A web site, blog or social media account (Facebook and Google+ is recommended for this. Twitter will give you meager results because of the speed at which tweets are posted in which case your "affiliate tweet" has exposure for a very short period of time. Not the optimal way to get your affiliate link in front of other people.
2. Affiliate links to use so you earn a commission on a person clicking on your link, or taking some sort of action once they arrive at the advertisers website. It could be giving up their email address, signing up for the website newsletter, making a purchase or many other things.
3. The patience and understanding that as you start off the money might be less then you expected, however as you expand with additional content on your website, blog or social media sites and you begin to include additional affiliate links that are of interest to a broader market of people... your income WILL increase. It can really only go one way as you expand your network of affiliate links... and that's up! This week, you make $22, next month $164, next year you're making $418 a month and more as the years progress. Realize that affilliate marketing for the most part is 98% hands off. Create your content, add your affiliate links and move on. You're using your content to draw in the interested visitors, and your affiliate links are just hanging out there on your page waiting to be clicked on... that IS a powerful low maintenance business model.
Traffic and visitors... yep, very (very) important. Get involved in free traffic programs, or you can use the more popualr paid for advertising services (IBO PR) for guaranteed free target visitors. Also, get involved here at IBO and especially on social medai and get the word out to your content pages, blog or directly to your affiliate program. This is a bit of leg work, however in the long term you'll be glad you did much more then just creating content and placing affiliate links in your content then wathcing TV.
Currently my all time favorite free advertising program is called Adsvert, it's not fancy or the prettiest program but that doesn't matter to me... it works! I like it because once you place a small snipet of code on your blog, website or social media site then from there on out it IS truly 100% hands off and runs automatically and OK I'll say it... even while you sleep :), sending targeted visitors to your site. Here's an example of the potential of this free traffic generating program.
My last words of wisdom... Be sure to check out Adsvert, sign up and see what's available to you in your back office. If you don't like Adsvert simply close your free account and don't return. I've used it for years now and it has generated millions (no exaggeration) of visitors during that time frame. And dare I mention it just one more time... it IS free "and" hands off, you sure can't beat that while your busy at your computer actively marketing your home business!
Wishing you the very best of success in business here at IBO!
