"What is the GDPR?"

Published on 7/10/2018
For additional information  Click Here

Hello Everyday Readers,

Well I'm coming to you all with the

real again this is something that has

been brought to my attention from

another source of mines.

What is GDPR?

Well everything you need to know

about the new general data protection

regulations and here's what it means

and how it's going to impact individuals

an their businesses so get prepared for it.

How did this come about?

The European commission set out a plan

for data protection reform across the

European Union in order to make Europe

fit for the digital age and it only can be

Built on trust with solid common standards

for protection people can be sure they are

in control of their personal information.

GDPR is a new set of rules designed to

give European citizens more control over

their personal data it simplify the regulatory

environment for business and citizens and

bring laws and obligations including things

around personal data,privacy and consent,

in our lives revolves around data from

social media companies, retailers, banks

and government almost every service we

use involves collecting and analyzing of

our personal data like your name, address,

Photos,credit card number,computer IP

address, are all collected and perhaps

stored by organizations.

And after months of learning about data

breaches from companies like facebook,

equifax, this is necessary that's why Mark

Zuckerberg jumped on board in his

testimony before Congress he believe

GDPR to be a very positive step for the

internet.

However the regulation does define what

reasonable mean in term of ensuring

compliance so this could present future

complications when incidents occur

whether or not an organization took

enough steps to ensure the damages.

companies must erase personal data,

the right to be forgotten, it will be

interesting to see how these companies

will deal with user requests for deletion

of certain data,it is no longer safe for

companies to assume that their customers

are content with their personal data held,

until something happens, well if you fail

to comply with GDPR you'll be denied

services, Facebook and Google already

hit with billion dollars lawsuits for GDPR

violations this is not a joke some are

really wondering, I know.

Well let see how loyal the companies we

represent is loyal to us, now you see why

Facebook has changed a lot next Twitter

LinkedIn's on board also good luck.

I hope you all enjoy!

Thank You

MCA Shermone Johnson
