Ever feel this way? I know what you mean, because I used to feel the exact same way! I knew I needed to eat well, lose weight and take charge of my health and wellness. Quite by accident, and literally because of a serious car accident, I was receiving chiropractic treatment for my injuries. I was introduced to a whole new world of holistic and alternative healing and thus began my journey toward healing.

And the rest, as they say, is history. 

When I began my journey back then, there was no such thing as GOOGLE. There wasn't even an internet. I did my research the old fashioned way - by asking tons of questions, spending every spare moment pouring over books in the library, subscribing to every health and wellness magazine and publication I could get my hands on and attending every lecture or course on alternative health and healing I could possibly squeeze into my busy schedule.  My head was exploding with so much information, but I realized there was one common denominator in the midst of it all. One single factor that every one of my doctors had failed to discuss with me or even mention.


What the heck was I eating? 

Food appeared to be the foundation and the key to acheiving and maintaining good health.  My diet was AWFUL, so I changed it and within six months, I felt 100% better!

I was so impacted by my own transformation that I eventually went back to school to study Holistic Health and Nutrition and earned the proper credentials so I could help others. Seventeen years later, I am still in perfect health and my message has not changed:

We are what we eat!! 

In this day and age of instant information at our fingertips, most people understand that food plays an important role in their health and wellness, but they're still confused about which foods they should be eating! It's no wonder with all the conflicting reports, advice and info out there. One day, coffee is good for us. The next day it's bad. And so-called miracle foods we're told to eat to prevent or cure this or that. How about all the different diets and styles of eating? Vegetarian. Vegan. Paleo. The Mediterranean Diet. They all claim to be the right one for weight loss, diabetes, cancer prevention and heart disease. We can get so confused, we just give up because it seems like nobody has any real answers. And sometimes, our diet gets worse. Sort of like that unsupervised child at a birthday party.
