Water is LIFE! It is vital to every living being on the planet, and proper intake is crucial for your body to function as intended.

Water flushes out toxins. It's rehydrating. Without water, our bodies would cease to function.

 

Feeling lousy? Hungry? Dizzy?

Your body might be begging you for MORE water!

 

Your body always tells you when something is wrong by sending you certain signals, but if you're not paying attention or don’t understand what those signals mean, here are a few signs that you may not be drinking enough water:

1. You're not urinating enough. The average person goes 6 - 7 times a day.

2. Your skin is really dry. A glass of water every hour will help maintain your optimal hydration level and improve your complexion dramatically.

3. You suffer with frequent and unexplained headaches. Dehydration is one of the main causes of headaches.

4. You're hungry. ALL THE TIME. Even after eating. Once again, it could be dehydration. Most of the time we think we're hungry, but we're really just thirsty. How can you tell? If you've eaten often and enough during the day, but still getting hunger pangs, try drinking a glass of water. If the hunger goes away, it was more water your body needed - not more food!

5. You feel dizzy. Dizziness is another sign of dehydration. Drink some water!

If you're experiencing these symptoms more often than not, you could be chronically dehydrated. Here are a few more signs to look for:

Frequent urinary tract infections
Premature aging
Confusion / Anxiety
Increased cholesterol levels
Constipation/ Heartburn/Chest pain

Of course, if you often experience any symptoms, consult a health professional. But also, try DRINKING MORE WATER.

Coffee, soda, beer, wine, cocktails, etc. don't count! Although they're liquid, made with water or enjoyed on the rocks, those are dehydrating drinks - which means they are robbing your body of precious water. If those are your go-to drinks, you need to double up on the water.
