Try Blessing Instead of Stressing!

Feeling stressed out?

Try blessing instead of stressing. Rather than focusing on the stress, think of the blessings in your life. There are so many.

Can't think of any?

You woke up this morning! That's one!

Don't think,"UGH! It's only Tuesday!" Think,"YEAH! It's Tuesday! A brand new day. Filled with new possibilities. Another opportunity to keep going or start all over again!" There's another blessing for you.

It's all about attitude, baby!

And what you think about, you bring about, so if you're thinking about how stressed you are, how stressed you're going to be, or how somebody else is stressing you out, guess what you're gonna get?

Instead, reflect on all the wonderful blessings in your life. Then, think of ways you can bless yourself and others. Is there anything you can do to bless yourself today? How about a good, healthy breakfast or lunch? Exercise. Time spent praying or meditating. Watching or reading something that inspires you. Stress is physical, emotional and spiritual. When you choose to nourish your body, mind and spirit with good things, the less stressed you will feel.

As for blessing somebody else, how about a phone call? A note? How about sharing an encouraging or inspiring post on Social Media? A smile? Holding the door or the elevator on your way into to the office? Offering someone your seat on the train - like a pregnant woman or a senior citizen? An invitation to lunch? Bringing a co-worker a cup of coffee or tea?

No matter how simple or grand, a blessing is a blessing.

And blessing somebody else will help relieve

your stress and theirs.

The BEST way to deal with stress is to take the focus off yourself and what you're stressing over and focus on somebody else. There's always someone going through something and they're stress is probably worse than yours. That person constantly stressing you out? You might want to stop for a moment and consider their life, their problems, their stress.

How can you bless them today?

Yours in good health, happiness and success,
