Hosanna
"Hosanna" I've heard this word all my life in church. Yesterday I decided to find out what it means. In Christian liturgy it is or means a shout of Praise. In Hebrew the original language, It means Please Save Now! I believe the word is distinctly associated with Yeshua (Jesus) who's name means Yehovah will save. Here it is in the scriptures.
Mat_21:9 And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, "Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!"
Mat_21:15 But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying out in the temple, "Hosanna to the Son of David!" they were indignant,
Mar_11:9 And those who went before and those who followed were shouting, "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
Mar_11:10 Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna in the highest!"
Joh_12:13 So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, crying out, "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!"
If you believe it to be a Shout of Praise then shout HOSANNA. If you need deliverance, then shout HOSANNA. HOSANNA!!!!!!!!!!!
