Walk the Historic Freedom Trail Tour in Boston

Featuring 16 historic sites along the way, the trail is easy to follow as it features red brick and a red painted line that guides visitors to each landmark. Your starting point will be Boston Common and will then wind you through the 2.5 miles to the end..

“Explore museums and meetinghouses, churches, and burying grounds. Learn about the brave people who shaped our nation. Discover the rich history of the American Revolution, as it began in Boston, where every step tells a story.”

You can also for a cost, schedule a guided “tour led by 18th-century costumed Freedom Trail Players®, tours feature tales of high treason, mob agitations, revolutionary actions, and partisan fights of the American Revolution.”

The walking tour itself is free. Expect at least the tour to last 3 or 4 hours, but to really take everything in, plan a day or longer. The Historic Freedom Trail Tour in Boston is just one of many attractions.
