Hello,
I think everyone today uses facebook,Twitter and Pinterest. I think in my personal opinion all three are good in some form or fashion. Out of the three, which one has the best benefits? Many small businesses are using social media sites to connect with new and existing customers, just like Facebook and Twitter. The difference is many eCommerce businesses are a gaining new level of success with Pinterest-based social marketing strategies. This info is provided by Venda an ecommerce technology provider. The Pin-it approach has made it a lot easier for consumers to as they say "shop the lifestyle" and by products or services. Venda is working with clients to help expan their digital storefront acroos the social media networks.Pinterest is a valuable source of discovery and sales. It is important for small business owners to know how to use Fcaebook for marketing, but Pinterest is more useful for introducing new customers to the brand .Clients of Venda are finding that Facebook is great for brand loyalty and interaction, both are important elements, but initial interactions and sales shine best with Pinterest.
Here are some tips given by Venda to help eCommerce providers make better usage of their interest strategies:
Brand Persona. Businesses should focus on lifestyle boards that convey a sense of the brand's persona, with descriptions written in the brand voice. Persona-based imagery should be interspersed with product imagery to drive traffic to your eCommerce website.
Calls to Action. One of the ways to engage Pinterest users is to offer incentives in exchange for calls to action. For example, some eCommerce providers offer discounts for product pins that receive the most "likes" over a set time period. The result is increased customer involvement and ultimately, higher sales.
New Product Rollouts. Pinterest is an excellent resource for new product rollout campaigns. Contests, hashtags and other tactics can be leveraged to introduce imagery of new products or product lines to individuals who are predisposed to the lifestyle your brand is marketing.
I think Pinterest's "pin-it" approach definitely offers advantages not available through Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms.I also think that it´s useful being able to use the brand persona to get your customers to identify with your product or services.Pinterest will become more and more popular for many business owners. Another thing that I should add, is that Facebook and Twitter have a lot of problems with smartphone integration and issues with feeds and apps in the App Edge. It is become more of a spammer site and people just love to share their life stories. What I don´t like about twitter is you get a lot of request from people to follow you, just to build up their ranks and the majority of the time they don´t follow you back or maybe they wait five days and then unfollow you. So, that´s my opinion on the three sites mentioned and I hope this blog gives you some insight on which offers you more advantages for your business.
