Shall We Tell Him Where the Rocks Are?

This old joke has come to mind several times over the past few days. I apologize in advance; no offense is intended to any religious group or affiliation. This is pretty much how it was told to me.

In a town well known for cooperation between the faiths, the priest and the minister invited the new rabbi to go fishing with them. They anchored their boat within a short distance of the dock facilities to take advantage of the fish attracted by the tourists.

After a while, the priest stood up, declaring that he was thirsty and stepped out of the boat and walked over to the dock, purchased some beverages and walked back to the boat. Shortly after that the minister observed that they were nearly out of worms and walked over to the dock to buy some more.

The rabbi was somewhat mystified but figured if they could do it, he should be able to. He stood up, declaring that lunch was on him and stepped out of the boat, promptly plunging into the water. The minister turned to the priest and said, “Shall we tell him where the rocks are?”

Internet marketing is a lot like fishing. Sure, you can catch a lot if you know what to do but otherwise, you might find yourself in over your head.

If you are new, you are going to hear many things. “It’s all in the list.” “You need multiple streams of income.” “Daily action is required to succeed.” These are just a few of them.

They are all true. The problem for me is that everyone wants me to buy into their system before I understand what is going on. Face it, many people try and fail on the internet. Frequently this is because they do not have the mindset for the daily activity required to build success. All too often it is because the system has not provided the guidance and support they needed to make it successful. Often it is, “Here are the tools, watch the vids and you will be fine.” What about the questions? Who is going to tell you where the rocks are?

Oh, I guess that would be me. It seems to have become my task. And frankly, I enjoy it. I get to help people succeed and their success leads to my own.

*Notice: The following is for a system that is only Free in the United States and Canada. Sorry about that folks. I will keep my eyes open.*

I started out with a free system and I only use free tools to promote it. There are several of them that you might want to upgrade after you get the money flowing. But to get started, the only money I “Had” to spend was for one of the trial offers that was not free. I could have made the credit with only free offers but I Chose to spend the money for a website of my own.
