As you explore the world of Internet Marketing, you will begin to develop habits. The question is, are these productive habits?

I didn’t discover IBO Toolbox until almost two months after I launched the Nove-Noga website. Until then, I was largely fumbling around in the dark. That is one of the main reasons for this series of Press Releases. I want to help people become productive earlier in their marketing career.

Daily Routines:
One of the most productive habits that I have found is my daily visit to IBO Toolbox. You may wonder how I know. After all, IBO was my first Social Network so it is quite likely that I am biased. The answer is simply in the numbers. I have been keeping track of several pieces of information almost from the very beginning. Simply put, when I participate in IBO Toolbox, the visits to my IBOsocial page and my Nove-Noga website go up. When I don’t, they go down.

Interact with the IBO Toolbox Featured Member of the Day:
My first stop on my daily login to IBO Toolbox is the Featured Member of the Day (FMOTD). Clicking on their Name causes the IBO MEMBER VIEWER to pop up. At a glance, I can see if we are associated, how many Press Releases and Videos they have, and how they participate in IBO Toolbox.
Click “Featured Member’s Name”.

Participation is indicated by the number of Comments Given, the number of Likes they have received, the number of Wall Posts they have made and the number of Associates that they have. To be chosen as the FMOTD is another indication of their activity on IBO Toolbox.

On the IBO MEMBER VIEWER, I can send an Associate Request if we are not yet Associated.
Click send request.

The FMOTD is automatically a good candidate for Association. If we are Associated, I send them a brief message of congratulations. (No business offers, not even a link, just a quick note.)
Click send message. Enter Message. Click [send message].
Click home to return to the home page of the IBO MEMBER VIEWER.

Prepare to Comment on their IBO Wall and PR.
RightClick view profile to open it in another window/tab.
Click wall posts to view their current IBO Wall.

On the IBO WALL for the FMOTD, I look for a wall post that is not a Press Release. It could be a link they have shared or better yet, an acknowledgement of their selection as the FMOTD. Failing to find either, I choose the most acceptable to me. Like the Wall Post and congratulate them again. This helps to increase the exposure for the Featured Member of the Day.
Find a wall post to comment on.
Click like.
Click comment. Enter your comment, (No links except on your own posts.) Click submit comment.
Consider Sharing if appropriate to your audience.

Finally, I turn to their IBOsocial Profile and look for their most recent Press Release.
Goto the window/tab you opened with the Member Profile.
On the Profile Menu Bar, select [ PRS ].
Select the top Press Release.
Read and Comment on it, including congratulations again. I frequently share these posts to my Social Network depending upon the content.
Return to the IBO Wall to Like the post I just commented on.

Review My IBO Activity:
Next it is time to see what has been happening on my own Press Releases. On the IBO WALL set the wall filter to “Me only”. No, this is not being self-centered. This is how you see your own wall posts, just as we saw the wall posts of the FMOTD earlier. The most recent post or the most recent to receive a comment will be at the top. I usually go to the bottom and work my way up.
Set IBO WALL – wall filter: [Me only].
Select Press Release for commenting.

For each Press Release, I will write a comment thanking those that have commented. Then I will follow each of them back by clicking on their names and going to their Profiles. I try for the most recent Press Release that I have not commented on yet. Read, comment and share as appropriate.

Greet New Associates:
Next I turn my attention to any new Associates since yesterday.
In SITE NAVIGATION click MY ASSOCIATES.

For each new Associate:
Click Name to open the IBO MEMBER VIEWER.
Click view profile to see their IBO Profile.
Review and Comment on one or more PRs as Appropriate.
Add any Google+ users to my Circles.
Return to the IBO MEMBER VIEWER.
Click send message.
Send a short greeting. I recommend closing with your IBOsocial Link.

Example:
Thank you, (member name), for your Association.
Please feel free to add me to any Networks we have in common.

*Note: Yes, my messages are significantly longer. I still do my best not to hammer my new associates. I hope that the messages I send have value to them. It has been a long time since I have received a complaint about them.*

*NB: There are different schools on how to develop relationships. You have to find your own middle ground. I have been remonstrated with for not being more personal. I feel that we are mostly here for business and in that, I will help you all that I can.*

Respond to Messages:
In SITE NAVIGATION select MY MESSAGES.
For each Bold (unread) message, Click the opening message line.
To Reply, scroll to the bottom of the message and Click reply.
After the form resizes, Enter your reply at the Top of the Page. When complete, Click send reply.

Invite New Associates:
This is a tricky area depending upon your needs, goals and interests. It has been recommended that you invite about ten (10) new Associates every day.
My rules of thumb:
If they comment on your Press Release, make sure they are Associated.
If they have five or six stars, consider them for Association.
If they provide information you need, make sure to send them an Association Request.
If they write great comments or comment on items of interest to you, consider them.
If they write about things you support, make sure to send them an Association Request.

Sending the Association Request:
In {IBO MEMBER VIEWER} click send request.
On the IBO Social Pages (Profile and PRs)
   look for the {IBOTOOLBOX associator}  Click “Send Request”.

Oops, I almost forgot one of the most important steps:
IBO Toolbox allows you to post two Press Releases daily. You need to post at least one every 48 hours to maintain the star for your PRs. Remember, with Five Stars, you earn for your first comment on every Press Release and Video. I should be posting twice a day but it is all I can do to come up with one original post every other day. Maybe if I wasn’t having so much fun with my Associates and Friends…

Simple PR Post:
In SITE NAVIGATION select IBO TOOLBOX APPS – PRESS RELEASE.
Click [CREATE PRESS RELEASE]
Paste or Enter – Press Release Title, Your Website Link, Keywords.
Paste your prepared Press Release in the {Content Editor}.
Set up Links and Add Images (Please include image width and size.)
Select Content Type and Acknowledge compliance with the IBO Rules.
Click [PUBLISH]
Wait for completion of process. Click [CONTINUE]
Go to your new PR and Verify your Links.

To Recap:
IBO Toolbox works when you participate. More than ninety percent of our visitors are from outside of IBO Toolbox. More participation means that more of them see your IBO image as it floats down the wall. Every comment to your PRs sends them to the top of the wall again. Every comment you make helps “bump” a post to the top of the wall.

Someone asked me, “I have posted my Press Release, now how do I get people to comment?” It is easy, visit your Associates and comment on their posts. If you run out of Associates, visit the posts of the “commenters” on the wall. Soon you will be so busy that it will be all you can do to reply to all the comments received.

One favor, please give us some content to comment on. Remember that “sell, sell, sell” may not be the best approach. Get us interested and give us a reason to follow your links. Nove-Noga!”
