Your IBOsocial Profile:
Note: This is the 17th in the “GetStarted” Sequence.
Your IBOsocial Profile is a little like your online business card only with a lot more information. Through your Profile, prospects and Associates can learn what businesses you support, what Social Networks you have in common and how you participate in IBO Toolbox. Having an incomplete Profile is a little like trying to open the doors of your business before you have the product in place. You may never get it perfect but you at least want a professional presentation.
Tools – Microsoft OneNote, IBO Toolbox.
Tasks – Set up the balance of your IBOsocial Profile.
To Edit Information on your IBOsocial Profile Page:
In SITE NAVIGATION of IBOtoolbox, select EDIT PROFILE.

EDIT PROFILE STEPs 1-3:
On your OneNote – IBO Toolbox – Setup page, you should have made notes of all the information that you have already put into place. Take a minute to review everything and makes sure the Presentation is as Professional as Possible.
To review the Business Information that you have already set up, find the line for the Business in Step 3 and Click on the Paper&Pencil Icon to Edit Business. Scroll up and wait for the information to be shown in the entry fields. After you have completed your Review, Click [SAVE]
*Note: The Paper&Pencil Icon is the standard Edit Button through most of IBO Toolbox.*
EDIT PROFILE STEP 4 – Add Contributor Badge:
IBO Toolbox is a Free Platform but it is not free to run. Like many sites, it runs on advertising. While it is possible to earn the Advertising Credits you need to maintain a certain level of advertising, you may wish to purchase additional advertising credits. This is known as becoming a Contributor and is designated by the Contributor Badge. For thirty days after the Purchase of your Contributor Badge, your Contributor Badge will be displayed on IBO Toolbox and you will receive double credits for PRs, comments, referrals and Logging in.
EDIT PROFILE STEP 5 – IBOsocial Front Page:
The IBOsocial Front Page Editor is essentially the same as the Press Release Editor. If you haven’t written your Introductory Press Release yet, this may be your first exposure to it.
The Press Release and IBOsocial Front Pages are about 515 Pixels wide. You can paste in text and use the tools for editing. You can use the tools to insert Video and Images. I recommend a maximum width of 500 Pixels and Center them when using max width. Please Remember to include the width and height for all Images and Videos. You can also paste prepared HTML in by changing from Design to HTML mode with the buttons at the bottom of the Editor.
You should change it from the default statement as soon as possible. If you know what you are doing, feel free to experiment. This is Your Business Billboard. It is the first thing people see when they go to your IBOsocial Profile. We will be covering Image Creation and your IBOsocial Front Page in more detail in a future post in this sequence. If you do make any changes that you want to keep, Click [SAVE].
EDIT PROFILE STEP 6 – Business Links:
Links to Pages and Sites for your Business to be shown on all the IBOsocial Pages (Profile, PRs, etc.) For example, while your first Fan Page should be linked to your IBOsocial Pages, you might want to put others in links on this page. Remember that the newest entry goes to the bottom of the page so plan these in OneNote – IBO Toolbox – Setups before you start.
For each entry, Enter the Link Name (only about 25 characters show) and the Link URL then Click [SAVE].
EDIT PROFILE STEP 7 – Social Networks:
Links to your Social Networks. *Note: Only the first six show up on the IBO Member Viewer so your first six should be your most important networks. Your Best Facebook Fan Page needs to be the first Facebook Link. I recommend, Facebook, Google+, Twitter and LinkedIn. Again, the most recent addition goes to the bottom of the list. Prepare your Social Networks List in OneNote – IBO Toolbox – Setups to save the information and make it easier to put in place.
For each entry, Select the Social Network and Enter the Link URL then Click [SAVE].
EDIT PROFILE STEP 8 – Business Videos:
Links to your Videos. *NB: You can also insert Videos into your Press Release. Many people use both approaches.
For each entry, Enter the Video Title, Video (YouTube URL) link, the More Info Link, and your Video Keywords. *Note: Your Video Keywords should be chosen with the same care as your Press Release Keywords.
EDIT PROFILE STEP 9 – Monetize your IBOsocial Profile with Google Adsense:
If you have an existing Google AdSense account, you can add a 160x600 Tower Ad to your IBO Social pages.
*Note: I set my account up last year, before the change to IBO Toolbox 2.0.

To Activate, paste the Script for the Google AdSense 160x600 Tower Ad into the Ad Code Box. Acknowledge your compliance with the rules and Click [SAVE]
