Banners and Advertising play a big role in our overall Marketing Strategy as Internet Marketers. Nearly every web page we look at has some form of Banners or Advertising. What we need is to find Graphics and Advertising copy that sets us apart from the rest of the Marketing crowd.

What is Marketing?
Google defines it as a Noun – the action or business of promoting and selling products or services, including market research and advertising.

Looked at from that point of view, every single thing we do as Internet Marketers is part of our Marketing Strategy. Every post and comment we make and every Banner and Image we use form part of our advertising efforts. When you share a link, do you think about how it is going to Look? We are selling a lot more than our products. We are promoting ourselves as individuals of trust, worthy of our buyer’s business.

Banners and Advertising:
At IBO Toolbox, we earn advertising credits for our daily activities; Logging in, Posting a Press Release, attending Webinars, Making comments on Press Releases and more. You can also purchase advertising credits which can double the value of some of the credit earning activities. We exchange these Advertising Credits (1:5) for Advertising Impressions in the CREDIT CENTER. We use those Advertising Impressions to power our Banners and Advertising

The most important Advertising you can do at IBO Toolbox is the 468x60 Banner on your IBO Social pages. Without this Banner running, you will be giving away the key Banner position on your IBO Social Pages. On the Plus side, you earn one of your IBO Stars for Advertising. With 5 IBO Stars, you earn Credits for each Press Release and Video you comment on.

*Note: It takes an unspecified number of views to activate the IBO Star. Consider setting the ad Display Speed to Fast until the Star is activated. Then set Display Speed as desired.*

You have several options for your Banner Advertising. If you are part of an Opportunity, they should provide Banners in the standard sizes. If you are just getting started, you can use the Banners provided by IBO Toolbox. They can be found in SITE NAVIGATION – REFERRAL LINKS. Kris Karafotas stands ready to create and host unique banners for your needs, at a fair price. Her Banner Advertising is all over IBO Toolbox. And finally, you can create your own Banners.

How to Make a Banner:
If you are the least bit artistic or even just have a good Idea of what you want to achieve, designing your own Banner may be the best way to go. I use the *Free GIMP tool to create all of my Graphics. When planning your own Banner Design, there are two basic types; Static Banners (.jpg and .png) and Animated Banners. (.gif pronounced Jif because choosy webmasters choose GIF.)
