For some time now I have been in the business of promoting water filtration in my country Barbados. I have noticed a growing increase in the importation of bottled water claiming it to be better than tap water.
How do we know whether this is true. For sure the negative effect of this is the filling of our waste disposal dump with non biodegradable bottles.
We have always boast of having great water in our land. Our lime stone they say is good for the filtration of some basic things and then the water authority will take care of the rest. But can they catch all the contaminants in the water.
I believe we need to take this a step further and include in our homes, whether in Barbados or any where in the world, a water filtration system.
Before we go there we should inform ourselves of some things.
We should pay attention to the quality of filtration system, particularly the replacement cartridges, to ensure that we are getting healthy water and also compliment this with the right food intake to bring about healthy living.
We also need to look at the alkalinity of our water. We also need to look at the type of containers we store water in.
