MLM = The company you work for and yourself makes money off the efforts of others and what you purchase through autoship or you don't get paid and from residual income (repeat customer product purchases). the money you yourself spend on product never counts toward your income.

If nobody wants your product or joins your team, you are just out of the money you spend on product month after month. Some people are fortunate and others not so fortunate.

There are many factors involved in others' as well as one's own success. Failure does not necessarily mean that one did not do all that is required to be successful. The right tools, training and coaching are also required. Geographic location and the economic status of the population plays a big part. Even more important the product itself is KEY. Is it marketable, believable, does it work, does it have validation or certification. And just as important, is the price right or competative. Is it affordable.

All these are factors one should consider in selecting a product to distribute. Also are you and independant reseller/distributor (wholesaler) or MLM.

Before you complete your due diligence, one should have already set down an exit strategy if every opportunity has been given the product venture in order to achieve success. This will allow one the option to seek other avenues for success in creating your own business venture and not fulfilling someone elses dream.

It does not mean that you are abandoning the idea of creating your own income resource, it simply means ONE DOWN, EVAULATE and WHAT'S NEXT ON THE MENU BOARD.

Remember never give up. But KNOW when to STOP pursuing an idea that doesn't work for you at the time and when to move FORWARD.
