If you currently have a home based business but you are not getting the results you’re looking for, you may want to find out if the company you’re with is really a good fit for you. Do you really use and appreciate the products or services your company handles? Are you as excited as you were in the beginning about your company. There are so many people out there who feel as if they’ve run into a brick wall in marketing there company and are just totally frustrated.
One useful approach is to find your market. For instance if you have a product or service that could be especially useful to pet owners, search for pet owner forums and post your information. Make sure your information is presented in a relaxed, passive manner. Being pushy or “in your face” approaches are never productive. Your best posture is to “share not sell”. People do want useful information but they do not want to be sold. Make sure you keep in mind your prospects needs and best interests.
You should also consult with people in your company who you know to be successful. If you have an upline in your company, its normally in their best financial interest for you to succeed also. Be in touch with them and use the information they give you. So many people try to reinvent the wheel when it comes to network marketing. Just use the same steps you were taught in the beginning and get your information to your prospects and follow up.
Go back and go over your training again. Find out what you are not doing properly. Most companies have training videos and/or manuals for new recruits. This information usually remains available ongoing use by associates. In our company we have a four step marketing process that is simple and duplicateable. There is no need to embellish the process. There are good reasons not to do elaborate presentations. They cause prospects to feel they’ll have to also which may turn them away. Keep it simple and duplicateable.
