I had the privilege of hearing Les Brown live at a conference, and it rocked my boat. He motivated me "to do the things others won't do to have the things others won't have."
We have been told a whopping 95% of those who participate in home businesses do not receive the rewards the 5% do. It is not that they fail. They never get started. One of the reasons is that many promotions of networking businesses claim there is no sponsoring required. They sit complacently waiting for the promised spillover.
Others don't have the burning desire to succeed. They are not hungry enough. Pain can be a motivator, but these folks are like the old dog lying on nails in agony and will not take the action of getting up and moving forward.
Many of our IBO Tool Box leaders had pain as a motivator. In this economy too many are homeless, jobless, or with whopping credit card debt. We were hungry enough to dig deep upon the greatness within us, set a goal, follow our plan, and rid ourselves of pain. It took discipline and persistence.
