To Newbies with Love (Part 2)

So, I had the pleasure of speaking with many new people here on IBO this week and how great is that? Individuals calling who are seemingly interested in me or one of my opportunities. Okay, cool. I (like most people) can usually smell when someone is really not interested and they are just waiting, chomping at the bit to try and sell me something.... Well, there's nothing wrong with wanting or trying to sell your opportunity. What is off-putting is feigning fake interest. It's actually a big turnoff. It does take some talent and skill to call and convert people but I can tell you one thing, the "fake and shake" will not cut it and it often backfires because the person that you are trying to sell is already turned off by this all too often used inauthentic tactic. If you really want to succeed in life, in business, then learn how to build relationships. Begin to make some associates here, leave them useful comments, learn all you can and write quality content and that will help you to begin to stand out. Write from the heart, share experiences, that will have more of an effect on people than just constantly bombarding everyone with useless comments, tactics and PRs. Only call or message people that you are genuinely interested in, you do not want to get the reputation of a spammer or a hack.
