Quality versus Quantity

I have always been more of a person that could appreciate quality. When you can tell someone has taken their time, has given extra thought, has done something to their own expectation of greatness before presenting it to the world. However, we know that the world does not always allow us to do this. It does not always ask us to give our or be the best. Our best isn’t even always supported or appreciated in schools but nonetheless, I think we should still strive for it,  to attempt be the best that we can be, to contribute in ways that help us present our talents in the most fabulous of light. Oftentimes, we bump into too many naysayers who love to let us know that we “have little time left” or that “we aren’t that good or that we just aren’t good enough. Some will profess that we should give up entirely but when we know that we have tapped into our God-given gifts and talents, we have to be or grow strong in our faith in ourselves and our abilities. Our gift is something that no man can take because it’s in us.

Some people spend their whole life accumulating stuff and more stuff. I think that’s the wrong life approach. I think that we are better served when we concentrate on grace, on joy, on love and more peace. We can never go wrong when we listen to our own voice, when we truly inhabit our own bodies and when we are comfortable in our own skins and our abilities to soar.

Let go of the stuff and allow your imagination to soar higher than you ever thought that you could. http://goo.gl/uiA3QM
