Day 6: Thank and Grow Rich

Today is Day 6 of my “Thank and Grow Rich” experiment.


Basically, this experiment has 2 parts:


1) Write down 3 blessings (or things that you appreciate or feel grateful for) and


2) Share those 3 things with others.


What I find is that sharing these 3 things gives us additional juice or mojo, it really strengthens the feelings of gratitude that you have. It helps to amp them up and it gives you another opportunity to feel good and I think that helps all of us, an awesomely cheap thrill, so to speak!


Here we go:

1) Thankful to realize that I needed some movement yesterday and got up the energy to go out and walk on an ugly, rainy looking day. Despite feeling some raindrops, I still kept going instead of turning around and going back in. The drizzles stopped and I ended up having a great and energizing walk!


2) Yesterday, I felt myself feeling anxious and I was able to quickly dissipate those feelings and not let myself go down a rabbit hole so I’m thankful for that!


3) Thankful that I was available to help out a friend last night. I was home and was able to help stabilize  a chaotic situation.
