Day 9: Thank and Grow Rich

I’m a little late in reporting my findings from this awesome experiment that I have been engaging in for over a week but it’s like the saying goes, “Better late than never.”

Today is Day 9 for my “Thank and Grow Rich” experiment. If you’ve been following me, you know that everyday, I come and report 3 different blessings that I am grateful everyday. This experiment is based on a book of the same name written by Pam Grout.

So here goes:

1) I’m thankful for being a woman that teenage girls like to come and talk to. I had an adorable chat with a young lady who is negotiating her first year in high school. It was a delight and it’s so nice to be able to talk to her as if I’m talking to my 14 year old self!

2) I am thankful that I had the opportunity to listen to a leader whose work has led her to study, work and improve the lives of individuals who have brain trauma or individuals who are experiencing cognitive difficulty related to age. One things that she says that we all should do, is to sip (not guzzle)  4 ounces of water throughout the day to keep our brain to keep it hydrated and working at its optimal capacity.

3) I’m also thankful that I seem to be connecting more with like-minded individuals.

I hope others here on IBO join me by either sharing those things that they are thankful for in the comments or going a step further and starting this experiment. You have nothing to lose and I believe that we all gain when we can identify and share those things that we are thankful for. Don’t be shy, share at least one thing you are thankful for in the comments! I can’t wait to read about those things that are bringing joy in your life.

Have you been following my journey? If not, feel free to click, read and/or comment on any of the posts below. I hope you feel moved to join me!
