Words Matter!

We are not merely scripted by our circumstances; we can become the creative forces of our lives, capable of optimizing sometimes even unseen possibilities.

Stephen M. R. Covey

Words Matter!

Do you believe that words matter? I do. I just read a post about becoming a thought billionaire. Ming Chee’s philosophy is that “our thoughts are powerful. Our stories are powerful. The stories that we tell to ourselves and others are powerful.” So, we need to be mindful of not only our  thoughts but also about our words.

Chee believes that our words carry a vibration and vibration is what we are going for if we're trying to be deliberate about our thoughts and creating the reality around us.

I believe that some words carry more punch than others. Sometimes, that is a result of repeated use, of emphasis and our own personal fascination with some of them. I know that I carry an affinity for words like joy, imagine, love and magnificent. Those words and ideas just make me feel good so I like to say them and dwell on them. Then there are other words like possibilities, limitless, unlimited, fulfilled and glorious that also give me pause and a reason to smile.

What words matter to you?

Here are a few more of my favorites:

gratitude, freedom, power, vision, laughter, kindness, light, magic, empowered, strength, peace, amazing, manifest, tenderness, passion, enthusiasm, delight, pleasure, adore, relish, savor, appreciation, wonder, cheer, satisfaction, inspiration, choices

There is more hunger for love and appreciation in this world than for bread.
