Happiness Hacks I

Do you believe in happiness hacks?

 

I do. I think that there are always things that we can do to uplift ourselves,  our moods and our worlds.  I believe that when we feel good about ourselves, we present our best selves and in turn, we treat and feel better about others and our surroundings.

 

Here are a few happiness hacks/things that can make for better days and please feel free to share some of the things that you do to feel/be better (in the comments below):

 

1) Gratitude Lists/Notes:

Recognizing and identifying those things that are going right in your life increases the way you view and live your life. It helps you to focus and magnify on the good. Taking time out to think about the good can only make you feel better, it does for me.

 

 

2) SNIFF SOMETHING that makes you feel good:

I have a few favorite smells that I absolutely adore:

 

  • lilacs
  • eucalyptus
  • hycinath
  • peonies
  • mint and especially, spearamint
  • lavendar
  • hydrangea
  • garlic — I love walking into a space and someone’s cooking with garlic——so good and it smells and tastes so delicious and it just so  happens to be good for the body too!

 

3) MOVEMENT

Sometimes a quick walk or some stretching or breathing/getting centered can help you re-focus and lighten the mood. I love fresh air so anytime I can get outside for a quick walk usually wakes me up and makes me feel better/more alive.

 

I believe that we all can have and DESERVE a happy life!

I believe that we all have something to contribute to the world.

I also believe that we all can live a life of joy, peace, love and abundance if we choose to…..
