Happiness Hacks II


Here’s yet another installment of how to make your life or maybe just your day happier and/or better. If you missed the first day, no worries, it can be found here:


Let’s get started and please chime in below on any things that you do to keep your vibe and energy level high.


1) Animal Friends and Family

Play with a dog or cat or any animal friend that you live with or that's friendly and close by. Science has long proved that dogs and other animals can assist with both stress and depression reduction.


2) Bask in some Natural Light:

Open up those shades, stand by the window and/or go outside. Even when the clouds are covering up the sun, we know that it is there.



Today. it’s snowing and the clouds are covering everything but yet, I stand by my window, look up and smile. It’s a new day; I’m upright and GAME ON.



Another opportunity to get this thing called life, right! I‘m celebrating the newness of the day!


3) Take a Break or Simply Turn It Off!

Take a break or simply turn off (or click away) from the negativity (much of it is coming from the news and/or the media——if they don’t have something gut-wrenching and depressing to report, they’ll go dig some up in the form of tragic anniversaries, or unsolved murders or some other horrendous acts). Give yourself a break from this for awhile, it’ll make a difference and your brain and mood will thank you!
