I do so enjoy reading, especially in the morning when there are no distractions and I read a variety of books. One quote that keeps coming back to me over and over is “faith without works is dead” from the Bible. So I wanted to spend some time looking at that and see how it applies to the current chapter we are studying in T&GR.
What good would it be if I created a winning downline in my company by my hard work but had no faith in my team? I would never be satisfied and definitely never could retire. But that’s works without faith isn’t it? I could totally have confidence in my team, the leaders I have helped initially train then not do anything at all for them after they got “trained” the first time. Ok, so now that is faith without works. Pretty straightforward so far isn’t it?
Now I want to do some math for a moment. Faith + works = a complete cycle (nope not a binary instead it is infinity). The two complete each other; the works is a demonstration in my belief, my faith that I have the ability to do what I set my mind to and finding likeminded people so that I can have complete faith in them, of course that creates trust and many other great positive connected feelings, so works is the proof of my faith. Our successes are the tangible results of our faith and works. The infinity part comes in when the cycle cannot be broken by bad intentions or others trying their best to temporarily disrupt the solid flow of connected thoughts and energy. Just like what exists here in MFF a constant positive energy. People may come and go but the fuel –FAITH in the system works and keeps creating new leaders over and over again.
That makes Mentoring for Free a living example of faith with works, an example that will far outlive you and me because it permanently changes hearts and minds to those who apply its tenants to everyday life, that changes future generations of your family and mine forever. Pretty neat, huh? All it takes is a little faithfulness to yourself and our system and you can watch your faith grow because it works.
What source of energy are you listening to today, suicide by mental suggestion or infinity by faith in yourself? Do you really want to have that choice made for you by someone in your past (a voice, a trauma, an unsafe emotional environment) that thinks it can stop your future? I have faith in you because you and I know if you will stick it out you will have what you desire. I’ve seen it happen in others and I see it happening in me.
