No Soup For You

Many of you will remember an episode of the television show Seinfeld, where there is a character refered to as the 'Soup Nazi". For those that are not, I shall share the plot.

Jerry, George and Elaine patronize a new soup stand Kramer has been praising; its owner is referred to as the "Soup Nazi," due to his temperament and insistence on a strict manner of behavior while purchasing an order. Jerry explains the procedure for purchasing, which George accepts but Elaine rejects.

When Jerry and George arrive at the soup stand, George follows the procedure but notices that no free bread was included with his purchase. Jerry instructs him to ignore it, but George requests bread and is told its price is $2.00. When George mentions the free bread that customers before him received, he is then informed that the price increased to $3.00. George's continued protest is met with a harsh "No soup for you!" from the Soup Nazi, followed by the cashier immediately confiscating his purchase and brusquely refunding his payment. 

This is a challenge for many of my clients when we are working on gaing clarity and creating a Major Definite Purpose. They feel by carving out a niche, they are limiting their options. The fact is that the contrast is true. You actually are going deeper and attracting the 'RIGHT" clients. The ones that are not a match are  sorting themselves out and you are not spending so much energy 'over comming objections"

A lot of people are genuinely surprised when one of our companies says to them, "Hey, this just isn't working. We're going to cancel your billing, refund your last charge and send you on your way."
Yet, if you want to have business that's enjoyable......
1.) you can't work with eveyrone and
2.) you'll occasionally have to show people the door.

That's a hard thing for some network marketers and home-business entrepreneurs to understand, especially if they're just starting out,desperate for a sale, etc.
The same goes the other way: just because you've been doing business with the same company for awhile....if you're consistently unhappy with how they're performing....show them the door. Fire them.
This I know, I promise you: nothing is worth having negative people in your space. And nothing is worse than being distracted from your goals because someone wants to engage in self-sabotage or negativity.
Clear the space. Move forward.

Nature abhores a vacuum and will fill in any space that you create. It in turn,cannot bring to you what you desire if there is no space for it. Let those folks go that are not serving anyones best interst in creating yours and your teams dream life. By doing so, you are not only freeing space for positive, good things to now enter your space, you are doing so for the ones you let go.
 
No Soup For You
 
You are creating a WIN-WIN.
After all is said and done, Who Doesn't Like WIN-WINS?
