Hello
I like to say something/tell a story could have cost my husband's life.
I live in a urban like neighborhood. Now one can not escape crime, if something is going to happen then it will do so. There are just different types of crimes that neighborhoods produce more than others.
Anyway In my neighborhood, I tend to have younger teens just sitting on my car. Now on many occasions I have asked them nicely and with respect to get off my car. Now I would get a negative slur or something but they eventually get off the car.
Now near midnight the day before yesterday, my husbands noticed around five or six people on my car and he asked them to get off the car. Now mind you my children is sound asleep. They got off the car, then he noticed them on the car once more and confronted them. After the did that, he walked a way them the teen boys, well one of them hit him with a beer bottle. Now I was sleep but I heard a glass break of some sort.
I didnt really pay it no mind because in my neighborhood you tend to hear worse sound than that. Then I hear him call me very calmly. I went downstairs, it was dark and when I turned on the light.....I SAW A LOT OF BLOOD!!! Blood all over my floors, the door and most of all HIM....I was terrified and asked him what happen while trying to clean him up. I cleaned him up the best I could and we proceeded to the hospital.
Now we thought he just needed stitches, and they told us it was worse than that...his skull was cracked and he was bleeding from/inside his brain. This has become a life or death situation. So he was transferred to Barnes hospital and they operated..
IBO i am frustrated because he was defending family by asking them to get off my car and they took it to the next extreme. The perpetrators were NOT caught and my hubby could not identify them...
