Sitting Out The Weather At One Of The Busiest Times Of The Year

When the weather is not conducive to our usual movement like it has been it can be most inconvenient but the show must go on.

I traveled for just over a week recently and it was raining for a few days before I left and on the day I left. Returning a few days ago, if anything the weather situation is far worse as it continues to rain steadily day and night on the North Coast of Jamaica.
Without weather of this kind one is often up and about seeing to a number of things. So what can one do under these somewhat restrictive conditions? In some cases one has to brave the weather because life does not stop because the weather is bad. In other scenario there is enough to be done using the opportunity of being forced to stay in doors.

The days of having young children around when one would get busy creating an atmosphere of more family time is for some of us in the past with distance, but we can still work on things that would impact the lives of the less fortunate. So with phones working the possibility of getting and working with a group to organize care packages for the less fortunate is quite possible.

For vendors who use the season to to earn additional income it is proving to be very difficult and it looks like we will be having a wet Christmas here in Jamaica.

In the meantime it is an opportunity to check out some of these sites:
