Reframing Your Circumstances Through Failure

Republished  from 2015 with adjustments

If as  entrepreneurs, online marketers your approach to the work you do is surrounded by fear of failure, you need to be reframing your circumstances.

If you know the enemy

 There are options, you have options, you have choices, choices that exist to make your life what you want it to be so make the most out of your life and just do what there is to be done.

The entrepreneur business is a road paved with failures and for each of us it is different. What we take from our failures, how we define our failures, and the reframing of you circumstances in setting your goals is  how we arrive at our goals.

It is important to understand who you are, who you've become as you evolve.

Be caught up in your dreams. Follow your set path. Do not believe that all your friends and family will be there for you. It would be nice, but do not get caught up in the thought because the reality is that they are most likely not going to understand what you are about and think you are a little bit crazy - until you are making money of course. You will find yourself working hard, talking to more people than you ever did before and it never works.

So do you keep seeking your friends and families' approval, encouragement or involvement? No you don't!  You are not reframing your circumstances if you do.   You make a decision acknowledging that sometimes  the best thing that could have happened to you is that you failed. Learn from it!

Never be afraid

Our failures can often propel us to success. There are a lot of people out there that stay the course and turn their failure into success. Why not you?

Learning the powerful skill of perseverance through rejection can serve you well depending on your mindset. Persistence is the underlying factor to success.  Analysing all the time and never getting started is the prerequisite to the fear of failure.

This looming fear factor affects your mindset and so you must overcome that fear of failure by reframing your circumstances. "So what if I failed"  Learn the lessons from it ...the why, the how and find ways to start again with the knowledge you would have gained. You need to reframe your circumstances through failure.

Your Inner game
Your inner game is what you feed yourself, your subconscious mind become self reliant in gathering information by  reading self-improvement books, you watch videos that tell you how to do various things and as you learn you apply.  Through your beliefs you will create action and in so doing you reframe your circumstances.

Your Outer Game
We are sometimes paralysed  by the fear of talking about something, commenting on the wrongs within a situation, speaking in public, telling someone how we feel about somethings or about them. Rather than doing something about it we allow the fear to set in, we do nothing and it becomes more difficult.

 Ways of reframing your circumstances are:

  • braking it down in simple form and begin by choosing a topic and talk as if to an imaginary audience until you become used to the idea;
  • then talk to one person;
  • practise making simple videos.

Once you conquer your inner game you can control your outer game. Knowledge and education is powerful and it doesn't mean it comes only from the classroom. It comes from everything that is taking place around you. Use this information in reframing your circumstances.

I hope you are inspired and have found value in this press release (blog) and begin to reframe your circumstances. Success often comes from your struggles, let this be your light bulb moment!
