Amerityre Produces Superior “Polyurethane Foam” and has a Proprietary Manufacturing Process for “Elastomer Materials” Which Ensures the Highest Quality Tire Applications
“What if you could enjoy the outdoors without ever having to worry about a flat tire ever, ever, ever again?” A great question posed by Silas O. Kines, Jr., Amerityre Board Member (Florida). Oh yes you can! Even Lee Iacocca says the impossible is possible with Amerityre. Check out Amerityre Corporation ( www.amerityre.com/index.cfm?action=home ) for yourself – you don’t want to miss the opportunity to get involved. Now is the time to invest! Timothy Ryan, Chairman says, “…Amerityre has invented new polyurethane foam and elastomer materials that are superior to rubber in many tire and tire product applications.” Currently, Amerityre has developed manufacturing processes and equipment that simplify and reduce costs in the tire making process.
“Amerityre Corporation was founded in 1995 as American Tire Corporation,” states Michael J. Kapral, Jr. The first products developed and sold by the new company were polyurethane foam tires based on the company’s proprietary chemical formulation technology. Since the tires were fabricated using a “closed cell polyurethane material,” they could never go flat. “Logically, the company registered the Flatfree™ trade mark for this amazing new product,” adds Founding Board Member Louis M. Haynie (SLC, Utah). Amerityre tires have found a strong following in many everyday applications such as bicycles, wheelchairs, lawn and garden products, golf carts and commercial dollies.
In 1999, the company name was changed to Amerityre Corporation and has continued development of the Flatfree™ technology. In 2003, Amerityre began development of their polyurethane Elastothane™ elastomer technology. “This unique technology allows Amerityre to ultimately develop a comprehensive line of tires and tire products based on polyurethane instead of rubber,” says Henry D. Moyle, Jr., Board Member (Utah). These products include tire fill, solid tires, composite tires and pneumatic passenger vehicle tires. In April 2004, Amerityre successfully completed testing to Federal Motor Safety Vehicle Standard (FMVSS) 109 with our Arcus™ design passenger car tire and in November 2007 Amerityre successfully completed testing to the new FMVSS 139 specification.
John Goldberg, Amerityre Board Member (San Francisco, California) states, “…Amerityre is a research and development (R&D) company that has created an incredible line of superior tire products based on proprietary polyurethane technologies and patented manufacturing processes. Amerityre will license this technology and provide proprietary polyurethane materials to select partners worldwide. Our executive and manufacturing facilities are located at 1501 Industrial Road, Boulder City, Nevada, and consist of a 49,500 square foot building, which includes approximately 5,500 square feet of office space.
Amerityre is focused on five tire and tire product markets for its “ElastothaneTM” polyurethane tire technologies: (1) Foam Tires for low speed, light weight applications, (2) Tire Fill for industrial and mining applications, (3) Solid Tires for low speed, “heavy weight utility vehicles” like fork lifts and skid-steer refuse handlers, (4) “…Composite Tires for applications where special treads are required and for retreads for commercial trucks to large OTR (off the road) mining tires,” says Francis E. Dosal, Board Member (Florida) and (5) Pneumatic Tires for passenger cars and light truck applications. “The advanced polyurethane materials developed by Amerityre, used in these applications, are environmentally friendly and can absolutely be recycled,” states Board Member, Gary Tucker, (Tennessee).
