We all have pet names for those we love. I don't know of anyone who doesn't have at least one "embarrassing" pet name. Most of us got out most embarrassing pet names from our grandparents.
Where is this going? Well, due to economic conditions my spouse has been very irritable. If I didn't know better, I wuold say he was going thru "manopause", but the fact is he has always been a bit grumbly. The problem is that he is now grumbling in english so I can understand what he is saying. Before, I could care less if he went around the house mumbling, because I didn't even register the mumbling in czech.
Things are different now that he is mumbling and grumbling in a language I understand. Believe me...it is really getting on my nerves. Last week I started calling him "Mr. Grouchy Pants", unfortunately in front of our six year old. You have to love the way a childs mind works, now when his father is grumbling (our son understands both languages), our son tells his papa "papa, you need to change your grouchy pants." He has even designated a certain pair of ratty pants my spouse wears at home all the time as the "grouchy" pants. I knew this had stuck today when our son came out of the bedroom with another pair of pants for Papa to wear.
So, now that the "grouchy" pants have been changed, my son wants to help me design some items for my Etsy store. I guess that means I need to get done with my blog and get going on my business.
