When is bad news good news? It depends how you look at it.

Sometimes bad news is good news. It depends how you look at it. This is a true story. I have been a builder all my life since leaving school. I was 21 years of age and I was having a tea break with the other builders on site. 2 of the other builders came in who, at my young age, looked old to me. I asked them how old they were and they both said 50. Right at that moment I thought, that's too old to be doing building work. I made the immediate decision I wasn't going to be a builder once I reached 50. Fast forward to now. I was already on the internet since 1998 and enjoyed building websites. in 2011 I decided to really go for gold and start an internet business. Building the website was never a problem but working out how to get visitors to the website was. I worked out all the elements which make up a successful online business and started putting them together. I still didn't know how to get visitors. Fast forward again. I find IBO Toolbox. I am not sure how or where but I found it. I didn't join straight away but went back to the website later and I am so glad I joined. Finally. I was getting visitors to my websites. Fast forward to October 2011. I am still a builder. The recession had only just started to bite, the business I was working for didn't have work for me and I finished 2011 working only 1 or 2 weeks a month. I was unemployed for at least 10 weeks. I didn't claim benefit, to me it is easier to work than fill in forms. Instead, what happened was, my work on the internet was already starting to pay some money so I simply used all my spare time to increase my online activities. Fast forward to January 2012. I already had my airline ticket to the Philippines and I wasn't going to miss being with my Risty so I flew out of the UK as scheduled on the 11th Jan. Fast forward to February 2012. I returned to the UK hoping to go back to work with the builders. Still no work for me. I was prepared for that. Back in the Philippines I took some time in the hotel, about an hour a day to continue my internet activities. Before I left for the Philippines I got a part time job driving a taxi. Not a huge pay but I get to meet lots of prospects in the car. Great. The job fits my new lifestyle and I am no longer a builder. My retirement came early. Now, some people would think that becoming unemployed is bad news. For me it is good news. The only negative is that I intended leaving the building job in December. All is good news. I was prepared. I had a goal and a plan. You too can do the same with your life. Don't ever rely on a job or one source of income. I replaced my building income with internet income and love it. I am now free to move to the Philippines and live with my Risty. That's my new goal. Watch this space. Plan it, do it, everything is possible for you too. Go IBO.
