Adversity and Defeat

Each adversity you meet carries with it a seed of an equivalent or more significant benefit. Realize this statement and believe in it. Close the door of your mind on all the failures and circumstances of your past so your brain can operate with a Positive Mental Attitude. Every problem has a solution-------- only YOU can find it! Once you develop an "I don't believe in defeat attitude," you will learn there is no such thing as a defeat- until you accept it as such! If you can look at the problem as temporary setbacks or stepping stones, you will come to believe that the only limitations you have are the ones in your mind. Remember, every defeat, every disappointment and every adversity carry with it a seed of an equivalent or more significant benefit. Self-doubt has probably played a part in your Success Equation. It has been a part of your journey this far; /be careful of what you say to yourself, about everything, not just about your business. What I am speaking about is a life not whatever company you may represent. Whatever your heart desires, believe in whatever your mission in life is and operate with a Positive Mental Attitude.

Operating a home-based business can and will be tough, but use your failures and obstacles as stepping stones to your success. Now regarding one’s business, our challenge is, creating a positive culture, building momentum, with purpose, motivation, direction, celebrating the little wins as well as the big ones, and lastly stay consistent. Did you make any changes? If so, please share. You are in business for yourself but not by yourself. It was told, “I don't listen or want to hear about people not making money in their chosen industry." That is not entirely true.

I listen, I hear, I believe people have money and people determine if, when and why they want to spend money with you or join your team. I will admit there are skills involved, if you are proficient, then you can speak to a lot of people. Having any business is a numbers game that is why it has also been said, "Know Your Numbers,” but do not get caught up in the outcome. If you speak to 100 people monthly, you can determine your averages. Break your goals into bite-size pieces that you can complete daily.  Pull out your calendar on Sunday and plug in your scheduled calls, block out prospecting time, personal development, follow-ups, your own time and family time. I am continually working on improving myself, maintaining my current customers, always looking for new customers and new team members. I have the same challenges as everyone else regardless of when I started. The choice is yours how you approach and proceed with your business. Most of all do not compare where you are in your business to another person as you do not know the journey they've traveled to reach their current status.
