3 Foods You Should Eliminate from Your Daily Meals

Published on 6/15/2018
For additional information  Click Here

Over the last few days, I’ve been researching food items that may be sabotaging one’s healthy food choices.  There are a few human-made products that some countries have banned. However, the US FDA still have listed for human consumption.

Everyone loves their guilty pleasures and when a new product hits the market individuals will flock to their favorite grocery store to pick it up! Take diet sodas for example which was introduced to the public in 1982 as a healthy alternative. Even though diet soda doesn’t contain sugars, it’s the artificial sweeteners which are much more harmful. A nine-year study was conducted by The Health Science Center of the University of Texas (, followed 750 participates which began in 2006. Unfortunately, the participants gained more weight than anyone has anticipated—People diet soda makes you fatter than drinking a regular soda.

Artificial sweeteners can dull your taste buds and therefore wanting sweeter taking foods and drinks. Due to this alteration one could be more susceptible to obesity, diabetes and other complications that could be caused by excessive sugars. Bottom line diet soda was intended for a good cause but has no nutritional value. So, ask yourself, do you notice that you are exhausted, irritable, and can’t stay awake? It may be you’re consuming too much sugar.

Okay, now that we got the diet soda myth out the way, what three foods do you think we’re consuming that’s considered “healthy” is keeping us from losing unwanted pounds?  This next list will surprise some of you as it did me:

  • Wheat Bread—I love wheat bread but will now eliminate it from my food choices. Wheat bread is HIGH in fructose corn syrup is 20X sweeter than sugar. We all have hormones that signal the body when we are and hungry and when we are full. The high fructose corn syrup confuses these natural hormones that provide a signal when we are full which leads to overeating. Our blood sugar will increase and decrease when consuming wheat bread thus making it harder to maintain a healthy gastrointestinal environment. As to not making this article an extensive lesson lecture on nutrition, it can be easily Googled.
  • Cereal Bars—are for professionals and kids on the go maker it more accessible to consume a quick breakfast because it is the most important meal of the day. However, it is loaded with sugars and malts. Have you ever taken the time to look at the sugar that’s contained in these bars? Why on earth would you need so many different types of sugar in a product that’s supposed to healthy? Here is just a short list of what can be found in most popular cereal bars: sugar, sugar cane fiber, brown sugar fiber, fructose, corn syrup, and others. WOW! That’s a lot of sugar and is NOT as healthy as it is marketed daily. In all honestly, cereal bars are the worst choices one can make looking for a healthy breakfast on the go because they contain little to no nutritional value depending on company/manufacture.
  • Yogurt—any yogurt that says it contains probiotics hasn’t told the full story. You are probably wondering why it’s on the list of 3 harmful foods not to consume? Well, here’s the deal! We all know that all food isn’t bad for you just as not all yogurts are bad. Therefore, I’m going to strictly focus on the yogurts that are found in the refrigerated section of your local grocery store. Store bought yogurt contains 2X as much sugar, and the milk is obtained from hormone-treated cows to increase their milk for mass production. Although it may seem like a good idea to meet demand, these hormone supplements cause the cow to produce an excessive amount of insulin. Grocery tend to stock their shelves with yogurts that contain the rbG Hormone and additives, artificial sweeteners, flavor enhancers, preservatives, etc. Anything one is consuming that isn’t healthy will have effects on the body’s function over an extended period. One of the most toxic and well-known artificial sweeteners is Aspartame. Flavored yogurts are even worse because they contain dyes and chemical flavoring.

By now you are asking yourself about yogurts that contain probiotics— being sure those are healthy as they say we should be using a probiotic for a healthy gut, right? Although this is true, the key is the probiotic MUST be alive and due to the pasteurized process, the GOOD bacteria are killed. (if you need more information on the pasteurization process please look it up in detail using Google.) When the FDA imposed its standard of the pasteurization process, it kills off any life within the milk.

So, now that I have taken away the three foods that many of us love, let’s take a turn to what we can incorporate that will help us burn those unwanted stored fats. We have heard many times that nutrition begins in our gut and to lose unwanted pounds we must have a healthy gut to our bodies can absorb the vitamins and minerals our bodies need daily.  I briefly mentioned PERSERVATIVES—the preservatives in our foods to ensure a longer shelf life BLOCKS our bodies from absorbing vitamins A, D, E, and K. Olestra (now known as Olean) was marketed as a lower calorie and cholesterol preservative in products we know well. Did you know preservatives could be the cause of your diarrhea, cramps, and loose bowels? Yep, it sure can and has been banned in Canada, China, and the EU. The FDA is now thinking about adding it to its banned list as well.

What can you do? Incorporate the 4 natural health solutions:

  • Digestive Enzymes--add to your diet and ensure to take before you eat. Lipase, Amylase, and Bromelain cut through the preservatives allow you to digest and absorb the much-needed vitamins and minerals. If you are a THRIVER, these enzymes are included in the pre/probiotic lifestyle mix. We stress DO NOT prepare the lifestyle mix the night before nor savor it when drinking—the mix is LIVE.
  • Maintain the Candida—candida lives in your digestive tract but quickly can grow out of control due to excessive sugars which can highjack your hormones and slows down your metabolism.
  • Overeating—can hurt your digestive system; anything the body doesn’t recognize (i.e., preservatives, artificial sugars, high fructose corn syrup) will turn it into stored fat. Remember we have hormones that become confused when high fructose corn syrups are introduced into the body causing one to overeat.
  • Green Tea Extract—has properties known to help combat inflammation, when added to the above healthy solutions, it has helped with the reduction in stored fats, and according to WebMD ( it has also been known that using green tea extract daily up to 24 weeks reduces total cholesterol and LDL (bad cholesterol) levels. Green Tea is also found in THRIVE’s three simple steps which includes lifestyle capsules, the lifestyle pre/probiotic mix, and the DFT (derma fusion technology) which also contains the leading weight-loss ingredients Forslean and Cosmoperine.

Okay, this went longer than I wanted, but I felt it is essential that you received this valuable information if you are looking to make a healthy lifestyle change. If you have any questions, please let me know, and I’ll be glad to address them at my earliest convenience.

Be happy, healthy, and live your best life.
