quite a nice spot on the first page of Google's
How did that happen?
Well I use what I call the sniper method.
I search for low-competition keywords that I can successful rank high with.
This method I've learned was from Google Sniper 2 and wow
did I learn some gold nuggets there!
My criteria for sniping is:
-At least 3,000 global monthly searches
-NO more than 13,000 results
-The first page can't have 2 or more authority sites
What are authority sites you say?
Authority websites have a good brand name with a huge traffic following.
Trying to outrank these sites is not impossible but difficult.
I like getting a competitors stats and like seeing what keyword they use.
I get a scoop on my competition on the first page of
Google by using a great tool called SEMrush
How I got on the first page with my review was that I used
low-competition keywords and hyper-linked some of the words
to another relevant site.
The results of "video traffic unlimited" was 26,900.
If I was competing with everyone that would be 26,900 websites!
But I'm only competing with 9 other results on the first page. :)
When I've seen that there were no authority that came up
for the search phrase, I immediately knew that I had a good chance of
ranking high with my article.
I learned and I'll continue do so with other niches and markets.
