Chances are you are here because you are looking for information about Beachbody and are either considering buying some product, becoming a Coach or both. Recently a very good friend of mine approached me about the Beachbody opportunity, so I decided to take a closer look at it. The following is an overview of the company, products, compensation, and what you need to do to be successful with Beachbody.
Who is Team Beachbody?
If you have turned on your TV in the last 10 years, you have heard of Team Beachbody. They are the company behind the infomercials for products such as P90X, Turbo Jam, Hip Hop Abs, and Insanity. They have spent over $100 million on these infomercials and other media building their brand and reputation. Not only do they sell their products through these infomercials, they also market and promote through a network of independent distributors, called Coaches, who get paid for selling the products. At the time of this writing, they have approximately 8,000 Coaches nationwide and by the looks of it, they will continue to grow.
Team Beachbody sells various fitness products including workout DVD’s, nutritional supplements, and fitness gear. The nutritional supplements are targeted towards weight loss and performance enhancement. They also carry a Team Beachbody apparel line. All these products can be purchased directly from a Beachbody Coach or online.
The Opportunity
There are 8 ways to get paid in their compensation plan. The plan is what is called a binary plan in the network marketing industry because as new reps join your team, they are placed in one of two legs. Just like other network marketing companies, your income will be determined by your efforts and the efforts of your team overall. One thing that sets Team Beachbody apart is that once you reach a certain position or income level, they will place customers acquired through their TV and radio advertising in your downline. They become your customers for life. This can be a very lucrative proposition since you are earning a monthly income from customers you didn’t have to go find.
To become a Team Beachbody Coach begins with an initial product order and starter kit. Also, to take full advantage of the compensation plan, a Coach must maintain a monthly autoship product order. There is a one-time $39 administration fee and $14.95 per month if you want a replicated marketing website.
If you are seriously considering becoming a Team Beachbody Coach and want to reach the higher levels of success and income, you must be able to effectively market your opportunity and generate a consistent flow of new leads. Otherwise, you will quickly become frustrated and have wasted some money. Most top producers have 20+ new people join their team each month. They have reached this level by using an effective marketing system that generates 40-50 leads per day.
