A Good Coach Knows...

A good coach can spot talent a mile away. They can see potential, opportunity and how the addition of this talent benefits the team.

A good coach can give you tools, insight, training, drills and encouragment. Help you get your head back in the game after a tough loss or dissappointing performance. They can share their stories with you, allowing you to know, you're not the first one and, you won't be the last to go down that road.

A good coach has vision always being 5 steps ahead with the end game in sight. Having learned the skills to remain sharp at all times, they can prepare you how to handle the unexpected when it happens...and it will.

The question then...With so many good coaches, why do the majority of players fail? This no doubt can open a discussion ranging far and wide. Yet the simple truth is...A good coach cannot teach, train or mentor anyone not ready and willing to learn!

You see, all your talent means nothing if you don't have the drive to improve, to keep learning. Sure your talent will get you in the game, yet without knowledge you won't grow. Without practice you won't improve. Without humility you can't add value to a team.

The same applies to your life and your business. It's not the responsability of friends, family and co-workers to make you better or happy. It's not your business partners or uplines job to do the work for you. All successful people know they have talent, seek out coaches, mentors to push them, put skin in the game and do the work.

There is NO shortcut to success, your attitude, work ethic and teachability is what reaps your rewards.
