I have the urge to tell you about the members of Me2everyone (M2E) the social network that's going 3D. I joined the social network the first day it launched and have been visiting the site daily. I've met a lot of interesting people on the site, including some of the folks at Headquarters!
When the site first launched the CEO was in constant communications with the members. Once we upgraded to the next version, we knew we were on our way to something big! It took a bit of patience on the part of the members, but we eventually moved to another location that allowed us to communicate better.
Everyone was having fun at Me2everyone and the CEO would still find the time to pop in every so often to give his version of the latest news for our company. Throughout that time, people were really getting to know each other at the social network. I have friends, associates and colleagues from around the world that know lots of different languages, have all sorts of skills and are just down right great people to know!
What really makes them special at Me2everyone, they love helping each other through the good and the bad. Whenever there is a natural disaster and we know there's a member in that particular area, some of the members actually show concern and start asking if anyone has heard from the member. Naturally we are all happy when we find out the the member is alright! We communicate with each other when there is death or sickness in the family and naturally we send out our well wishes when needed. We are always happy to hear great news such as a new born, a marriage or even a working member finally returning to the fold.
I really love the fact that we don't let religion or politics get in our way. For the most part, there is a lot of respect taking place at Me2everyone.com and I'm happy to be part of it! There were a few rough moments when some first started communicating because of cultural differences, but everyone has learned to accept the fact that the world is an oyster! I love the fact that we are turning it into a huge pearl.
