Hope of Ignorance! - Satan's Hope for You. (Part 2 of 2)

Keeping God #1 in Your Business (PR_Vol_77)

Hebrews 10:10-23 (NLT)
15) And the Holy Spirit also testifies that this is so. For he says, 16) “This is the new covenant I will make with my people on that day, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.” 17) Then he says, “I will never again remember their sins and lawless deeds”

I commend you for coming back to (Part-2) of this series, and for those of you who have not studied (Part-1), I would highly recommend that you do so, in order to get a better understanding of the subject at hand. In this section, we are expounding on the phenomenon that there is a profound difference in Gods treatment of Sin as a noun and sin as a verb in the life of a Christian. The devil’s hope is that you do not discern the difference so that he can keep you in guilt and condemnation..

Beloved, let’s start with an occurrence that is often perplexing to a lot of Christians, and it is frequently used as a sledge hammer to beat them over the head, from the pulpits of some ministries that are steeped in religion, tradition and observance of the old covenant laws; much like the Pharisees and Sadducees.. We’ll begin with a question.

As Born-again Spirit-filled Christian, will you still sin (verb) from time to time; even though you no longer have a sinful nature (no Sin in your DNA so to say)? Of course you will. You are still in a sinful world, bombarded by sinful desires, and you dwell in your unredeemed flesh. Apostle Paul says “Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? 25) Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.  (Romans 7:24-25) ESV.  Here James is talking about the Law of Liberty (James 2:10-13). Conversely, the unsaved, those under the Old covenant law are judged according to (Romans 2:12).

However, God who knows that you will still sin (verb) for the rest of your life; not deliberately as a chosen lifestyle but sin none the less; has forgiven all your sins (past, present and future) through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. God redeemed you from Sin (Noun: Power, Place, and Person/Satan). But He has not yet delivered you from the presence of sin (verb:  The action of sinning). You must know that this (Gift of Grace) is not a license to sin.

My friend, what this all boils down to is this. Your knowledge and appreciation of your gift of righteousness even when you sin, will keep you from a constant consciousness of sin, trying to keep the law. What you behold continuously is what you become. Focus on believing correctly and not on living correctly. When you believe correctly you will be transformed to living correctly by the Holy Ghost.

If you will understand, appreciate, assimilate, believe and appropriate the benefits and significance of the finished works of Jesus Christ on the cross on your behalf, and engage and allow the Holy Spirit to lead guide and write God’s law of Liberty on your heart and mind, then you will be consistently be righteousness –conscious. Thereby, you will be gradually redeemed from sinning (verb) You will sin less and less and behave righteous more and more. You will now serve in the newness of the Spirit (Romans 7:5,6)

So Beloved, be joyful, praise God and declare to yourself daily, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. And His blood continuously cleanses me from ALL sin (noun).
(1 John 1:7). Wealth and riches are in my house and my righteousness endures forever. (Psalm 112:3) I hope this series has been a blessing to you. Always bear in mind that God says “I will never again remember their sins and lawless deeds”
