Are You Purpose Driven? (Part 2 of 2)

Keeping God #1 in Your Business (PR_Vol_79)

Ephesians 2:10 (KJV)
10) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Welcome back to (Part-2) of this series, and if you have not studied (Part-1), I would highly recommend that you do so, in order to get a better understanding of the subject at hand. In this section, we will continue to expound on the need to live a God prescribed Purpose Driven Lifestyle.

Have you thought about what your purpose is in ministry?  Are you studying the manual, in order to adequately fulfill the purpose?  The Bible admonishes us to “study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing (rightly handling and skillfully teaching) the Word of Truth". (2 Timothy 2:15) AMP. God expects us to live His purpose driven life. We have all been given the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18)

What is your purpose regarding your work, employment or business?  Some people will meander for years, jumping from one endeavor to another or they will stay on a job or business opportunity that is going nowhere; so that they have to jimmy up passion for years and years.  Beloved, God wants us to live a passionate purpose driven life.  You are an original and God has no copy of you.  He created you to fulfill a specific purpose in life.  (Jer. 1:5).  We get very creative in pounding a square peg into a round hole and justifying what we do; whilst we know in our heart that there is a void.  We are sometimes doing what we do, because we are afraid to follow our heart’s true desire; afraid to follow our passion.
My friend God loves you.  He gave you your desires, passions and visions.  Our God of the vision is also the God of the provision.  If you will take a leap of faith and put your hands in God’s hand, He will give you the provision to make your vision come alive.  The Bible tells us in (Proverbs 3:5-6) “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding 6).  In all thy ways, acknowledge Him, and He shall direct they paths.
You must know and believe, that as a born-again child of God, it is God’s will and purpose for you; that you live a lifestyle of royalty and priesthood (Rev. 1:5,6).  Furthermore, God promises you a good life, as He says in (Jeremiah 29:11) AMP. “For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome”.
If you don’t know your Core purpose in life, then you must ask God.  He promises to answer you.  (Jeremiah 33:3) Call unto me and I will answer thee, and show these great and mighty things which thou knowest not”.  He says “you have not because you ask not …. when you ask, you ask amiss (James 4:2-3)

I submit to you that, as a born-again believer in Jesus Christ, your core purpose can be found in your passion, talents and the desires of your heart.  Go for it.  If you fall seven times, God will do whatever is needful to get you back up on your feet and back on purpose.  (Prov. 24:16).  He promises to uphold you with the right hand of His Salvation.  (Is. 41:10). Joseph went from the Pit to Prison to the Palace; yet God was with him through it all and He promises never to leave you nor forsake you.
