Christ Centered Prosperity (Part 3 of 3)

Keeping God #1 in Your Business (PR_Vol_89)

2 Corinthians 8:9 (NLT)
9) You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, so that by his poverty He could make you rich.

Welcome to (Part 3) of this series. I hope you afforded yourself the opportunity to study (Part 1&2) so that you get a more complete understanding of this very important aspect of your life.

The first thing that I would like to establish in this article is that the word rich in the scripture verse above, actually means rich; as in money rich. Some people would like to spiritualize this and say that it means spiritually rich. The problem with that thinking is that Jesus was never at anytime spiritually poor. He really did create all the silver and the gold for the benefit of His beloved; you and I!

God has already made you rich, without any self effort. Now just to be clear, no self effort does not mean no effort at all. It means no self effort; where your dependence is on yourself. Christ Centered  Prosperity means that you; “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding, you seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

You must remember that it’s not all about you but ALL about Him. You must get out of "The Law” (Self Effort) and get into “Grace” (divine revelation and dependence on Him). When God promised Abram a son in his old age, Abram initially resorted to self effort and he bore Ishmael through Hagar (The Law). God had to instruct Abram to let Hagar and Ishmael go. Let go of The Law (Self effort and Self reliance)

Abram wised up and decided not only to believe God, he chose not to consider, ponder, think about nor bear in mind his own body now dead, when he was about a hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: He rested in God by faith (no more self effort), and that is when God gave him Isaac through Sarah (Grace). You must operate in Grace. Lean not to your own understanding.

Beloved, if you ever have to shade the truth to build your business, then that is self effort and not Grace. All God wants you to do in order to receive what He has already provided is to BELIEVE. When you believe, He will direct your path. He will tell you what to do. God blessed Abram by telling him what to do. God told Abram to leave his land and relatives (A strange recipe for wealth). But God caused Pharaoh to enrich Abram immensely.
(Genesis 12:1-20) He wants to do the same for you.

Here’s another example. God told Isaac not to go to Egypt like everybody else did, but to stay and farm in the land of severe famine (Another bizarre recipe for agricultural success). However Isaac obeyed. He sowed in that land, rested in God, and God blessed him with over whelming wealth. (Genesis 26:1-13) What has the Holy Spirit told you about your endeavors?

(Mark 4:26-29) “Jesus also said, “The Kingdom of God is like a farmer who scatters seed on the ground. 27) Night and day, while he’s asleep or awake, the seed sprouts and grows, but he does not understand how it happens. 28) The earth produces the crops on its own. First a leaf blade pushes through, then the heads of wheat are formed, and finally the grain ripens. 29) And as soon as the grain is ready, the farmer comes and harvests it with a sickle, for the harvest time has come.”

My friend, my advice is that you believe His word, seek His guidance, follow His direction, remain at rest in faith (without toil or anxiety), and remain in perpetual thanks-giving. Sow however and wherever He tells you to sow, and expect Him to bring the harvest to fruition. God is the one who grows your business. Embrace His Amazing Grace TODAY!
