The Television and computer screens are looking more and more the same these days, in terms of content. Inspite of the fact that many people own PC's, they are not the people that are
benefiting the most from this merger. Big Advertising is making a killing using the same, albeit, more cutting edge, technology. We've been led to
believe by 'Big Advertising',that engaging this technology to its fullest will so much better our lives
while, on the other hand, I believe that our lives are becoming an open book. It has been widely publicized that Facebook is now the largest social media network in the world and is still growing.
Now everything that you can think of, is on Facebook,Twitter, and the like while at the same time it is reported that Facebook, and others, are
having privacy/security issues. OK. That's a little scary right? Now let's see if I can make you a little
mad. Where's the first place that you're likely turn to in order to try and protect yourself? My guess
is someplace that can provide added protection along the lines of Identity Theft Protection, or better security programs on your own computer.
Now, here's the dig. It's highly likely that you'll have to pay for this Identity Theft Protection or
increased security protection on your PC. It's also highly likely that the companies that you'll end up
turning to are directly, or indirectly connected to the Apple Corporation or one of the other big 'high tech'
companies. They've got you coming and going.
And then, consider this. At a time when this country is on the brink of defaulting on it's debts, the Apple
Corporation now has more cash reserves than the Federal Government. According to CNN, Apple has 76 Billion and the Government
has 74 Billion.
I know it's difficult to see the connection but look closely. Follow the money. What I'm saying is that what we view on our television and what we view on our computer screens is becoming so similar in content that it's becoming more and more difficult to distinguish between when we're being 'sold' to and when it's just entertainment or information. That, to me, is a danger to our ability to clearly know what the actual intent is. And it's all about clarity. Bottom line, it's seems now that we are always being 'sold' to. It's not just fun anymore. Does it seem strange to anyone else that the average age of the people purchasing and playing video games today is approaching 30. How's that for food for thought. Now keep in mind while you're, possibly, hurting your
brain contemplating that, I believe that you are very possibly using something from one of these 'high tech' companies to read this blog in the first place.
So I'll leave you with that. I bet you can't wait for my next installment of "The Rich Get Richer and The
Poor Get Poorer".

 | | It's fascinating. How the corporate & government structures manipulate so much - if we let them. Thought I'd give this post some "new life" that others might get a chance to see. Hope you have a great weekend |
