My Fuse is Lit and Ready to Go Boom
My mother always said I was a delayed fuse.
I was suppose to be born on the 4th of July, however, I was a "delayed fuse" and was actually born on the 5th of July.
Better late than never, right?
Of course, if you ask my mother, I have been a firecracker ever since my arrival.
She is not with us any longer, but I did my part to keep her life lit up and exciting. LOL
I was her last of four (4) children and she was in labor with me for more than three (3) days.
Wow, I knew how to make an entrance, huh?
When I arrived, I was basically all she had left at home. I was a "change of life" baby (she had me when she was 39 years old). She was told I could have been lacking in my head (the way they put it at the time) or be extremely smart.
I won't say that I am extremely smart, however, I do pretty good at things.
Now, every year that my birthday rolls around, everyone celebrates my birthday with a bang. This is so awesome!
With every passing year, I think of my birthday as just that, just another passing day. However, everyone seems to want to keep celebrating my birthday in a bang up way.
Even though there are times when I don't particularly care to celebrate, there seem to be people always wanting to light firecrackers and celebrate my birth. LOL
Thank you to all who want to celebrate my day and make sure to be careful. Those firecrackers can be dangerous.
I wish that everyone enjoys their day of Independence. Happy 4th of July to all.
