Dedicated to the Real Leaders who really care
I am writing this based on my own opinions on what I think a true leader is willing to do
to help their team.
Yes, I do understand that a leader also has their own work and priorities. We all do, and must take responsibility for what we need to accomplish throughout the day.
However, when in need, I feel a true leader will be there for their team members.
Now, I don't expect or think that they should waste time on those that are not willing to help themselves first.
Just like a child, you can lead the way, but after a point, they must go their own way.
Everyone MUST do what they can before they call on others for help.
Leaders that are willing to help their team, not only show an extra-ordinary skill in being a leader, but also, again, in my opinion, shows just how much they are a down to earth human being and they are willing to be there when it comes to helping others.
Those leaders who may not realize how much it means to others who are learning the business, I would like to dedicate this post to them.
So for all the leaders out there, and you know who you are, thank you for all of your support and guidance.
We newbies, in whatever opportunity we may be in, DOOOO appreciate it.
Some leaders don't or won't take time to help their new people, and figure once someone signs on with them, then that is it.
However, whatever time and guidance that you can spare to someone who is willing to do what is necessary to make their business a success, a leaders time and effort is immeasurable.
I would like, in particular, to thank my sponsor, a true leader in every sense of the word.
So newbies, take time to thank your sponsor/leader for what they do for you.
And leaders, take time, (when you can) to help those that truly want to follow in your footsteps.
