Everyone knows who Tony Robbins is because over the past 30 years, Tony Robbins has become the world's most successful performance coach.
So how does he start his day?
Well he doesn’t have a regular time each day to get out of bed due to the fact that he does so much travelling around the world. However the first thing he now does is, wait for it! Takes a cold plunge and keeps himself submerged for a whole minute!
Why does he do that? Let’s ask.
"I don't do it because I'm a masochist — I do it because there is nothing that can change everything in your system like a radical change in temperature," he said.
After this he takes 10 minutes at least to do the following:
Perform a particular yoga breathing exercise called Kapalabhati Pranayama breathing, you can look this up but it’s quite advanced.
He then takes a few minutes to express gratitude by thinking of three things he's grateful for, with one of them being something small, which can be something like "the wind on my face or the smile of my son."
"The reason I picked gratitude is because when you're grateful you can't be angry," he said. "And when you're grateful you can't be fearful."
Finally he prays by spending the next three minutes seeking strength and wishing good things on his family, friends, and clients. He considers it a spiritual exercise, but it doesn't need to be tied to religion.
After that it’s a nourishing breakfast and off to motivate some more people.
