A common definition of an entrepreneur us any person who organises and manages any enterprise, usually with considerable initiative and risk. History is rich with countless examples of entrepreneurs in all areas of endeavour, personal and professional.
Look around you. Literally everything you see, everything that has been created is the result of the efforts of an entrepreneur; every product, building and physical manifestation that surrounds you, what you are sitting in, the refrigerator that keeps your food fresh and the oven that cooks it, the television you watch, as well as the media that entertains you.
A common misconception is that being an entrepreneur is only about career, business and finances. While that is certainly is a large part of life’s opportunity and challenge, it is only a small part of where you can apply your focus as an entrepreneur. It can also be in the areas of Relationships, Family, Spirituality, Friends, Love, Health, or any combination including other areas in your life that are important to you.
The Beyond Freedom Evolution curriculum is designed to help you become an effective and satisfied entrepreneur for what ever areas of your life you choose.
This can take unlimited shape or form. It is completely up to you.
I have been an entrepreneur all my life, right from delivering brochures to earn some pocket money, to working in some well know fast food establishments, to running my own businesses in Australia and around the globe. Sometimes your ideas prove successful and sometimes they do not. Just today I tried to cross promote one of my new business ventures on another one of my established unrelated web sites and unfortunately many users were not happy. These sorts of “lessons” teach us many things but it is important to take the lessons and act and learn.
Remember your vision / dream is your vision and do not let the dream takers steal them away from you. Act upon them, learn and know that you are successful for just giving it a try.

Think outside the square and really believe that anything is possible. For many years now I have been a business owner in the recruitment and mapping industries, starting and running my own successful businesses but never really had a lot of time freedom. I recently changed direction and became a Professional Fire Fighter in Adelaide. Being a fire fighter is a great job and gives me a great deal of personal satisfaction but not the financial freedom that I would like to provide my family. What I was looking for was an opportunity to use my entrepreneurial skills that give me the freedom and lifestyle to choose my own destiny and to enjoy the things my wife and children do on a day to day basis. Join me on this journey so we can he how high the sky really is :)

 | | Dean - thanks for pointing out that sometimes the things we do won't always be successful but these "lessons" serve to teach us and it's important that we act upon what we learn. |
