Feed Your Decisions
Many of you have planted a tree, started a garden, parented an infant or become the owner of a newborn pet. If you’ve had this experience, you quickly learn that in order to maintain the life you’ve taken responsibility for, you have to feed it, nurture it and protect it. Without your care, situations can quickly evolve into a direction that doesn’t serve the best interests of those living things under your charge.
The same principle applies to your decisions.
For a moment, think of your decisions as living, breathing things of which you are now in charge. As they are born, or planted, in your mind, they begin to take on an identity of their own—which collectively become your new you! But this can only happen if you tend to them, nurture them, care for them, cherish them, and feed them by keeping your behavior in line with those choices.
How you act determines the lifespan of your decisions! Acting in line with your decision gives those choices life and growth.
The quickest way to have your decisions not create results in your life is to abandon them. Decisions are organic. They become a fabric of your life experience. And just like a garden, those decisions you’ve planted will prosper, or not, depending on how you care for them.
For the best results in your life, don’t abandon the decisions you’ve made as long as they are in line with your desired future. Feed them! Nurture them! As you make decisions in direct line with your North Star and your life’s Compass Heading, they will produce results in your life—they have to! Your decisions will sprout life and create a new life experience for you.
There are no wrong decisions but you need to be willing to learn from the results of your decisions. Like goals make big and bold decisions but break them down into manageable parts so you can course correct along the way.
I have been involved in a number of business, both online and offline and some business opportunities you will find resonate with you others just don’t. That does not make one opportunity better than the other it is just based on your own situation, values, and the way the opportunity works. Always be looking at ways to feed your decisions in alignment with your goals. Don’t just jump from opportunity to opportunity but also do not stick with something that is just not working for you but make sure you give it a chance to work.
I have recently found that one business opportunity that I am involved with slapped me for cross marketing.
