What is yoga?
From Wikipedia - Yoga (Sanskrit, Pali: ???, yoga) is a physical, mental, and spiritual discipline, originating in ancient India.[1][2] The goal of yoga, or of the person practicing yoga, is the attainment of a state of perfect spiritual insight and tranquility while meditating on the Hindu concept of divinity or Brahman.[3] The word is associated with meditative practices in Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism

I have just started to use Yoga first thing in the morning to help me wake, prepare mentally and get ready for the day ahead. I have been using the AM Yoga program by Rodney Yee which in a 20 minute session covers relaxation, yoga and meditation. In only a very short time have seen the great benefits of it, especially in preparing me for the day ahead. The 20 minutes is long enough to be beneficial but short enough to be able to fit into any busy lifestyle.
Here is a YouTube video by Rodney Yee that can be used by beginners. I would certainly recommend you have a look and start your day with a combination of relaxation, yoga and meditation

Rodney Yee also has a PM Yoga session which is also only 20 minutes long and I have started to embrace this as part of my daily workout routine. It is a gentle low impact way to increase your fitness levels, and centre your mind and body and release the stresses of the day.
