Internet Marketing The Gist Of It

Press Release ammended Wednesday, August 2nd, 2017.
If you are an Internet Marketer you are online for no other reason than to make money. Period. There are no if's, and's or but's about it, as an Internet Marketer it's your job to generate a profit online by promoting a product and or service online.
Now that we have established that Network Marketers, a/k/a Affiliate Marketers, are online to do one thing and one thing only... To make money online, let us explore the current state of Network Marketing today.
Note: Network Marketing is a 'nice way' of saying Affiliate Marketing. If you are promoting a referral link you are an Affiliate Marketer, a/k/a Network Marketer. LOL's.
A Little About Me: I started marketing affiliate programs online in late 2008. Five years ago I decided to promote only list builders and affiliate advertising sites on my social network profiles and thru banner and text advertising. I started devoting most of my time to myself as a Private Internet Marketing Analyst. For the last five years I have spent most of my time studying social media networks and a myriad of affiliate programs and have discovered 'how they tick' and why they are either successful or not so successful.
Many of you are now wondering how much money I have generated online in the last nine years.. How much money have I made online in the last 9 years? I hope that your are sitting down. I have made $2557 online in the last nine years and all of it was spent online buying traffic, upgrading at various sites and joining paid only member-to-member affiliate programs. $2557 divided by 9 = $284.11 a year or .77 cents a day.
I made most of my money online with netSpend Refer A Friend program and I continue to do well with that program.
A couple of my top money makers are or were Instant Leads and Income, MLM Recruit On Demand, Lightning Leads, One Dollar Riches, Pay Spree Sniper, Rebrandable Traffic.
Enough about me, now we are going to take a look at some programs and social networks and see if we can determine why some sites are more successful than others.
As I stated above I decided to become a private internet marketing analyst about five years ago. So the next morning I made a 'wish list' of programs and platforms that I wanted to study. The first list had 50 listings and Clickbank was first on the list.
So the very next morning I got up, made some coffee and started my brand new online adventure straight away. I will cover only a couple programs and platforms.
Question: Why is Clickbank so successful?
The day I began to study Clickbank I went and found their top affiliate program and clicked on the link and just sat and studied the page for a couple of hours drinking coffee and trying to spot the reason why this page/program was any better than any of the other thousands of programs that CB had to offer. The reason why it was the top program, at that time, is because it covered a (hot topic). Top CB programs are top CB programs because they cover (hot topics). Mystery solved?! No not really.. (hot topics) change every hour daily. There are services that you can buy that will alert you daily on hot CB topics or what topics are 'trending,' that way you can stay on top of the trends/hot topics. Conclusion: A CB affiliates success is largely determined by what is trending or is a (hot topic) at any given time on the internet. This includes: JVZoo, PaySpree, WarriorPlus, ect.
Great! But why is the Clickbank platform so Popular and Successful as a (Whole)?
The answer to that question is what you (don't) see on any individual CB affiliate page. I sat and studied 10 different CB affiliate pages for about 3 hours.. Just about the time I was going to 'Crack Up' I realized that the Clickbank affiliate was anonymous. No affiliate profiles with their pictures and social media buttons displayed on any CB affiliate page. Nothing to distract the visitor from his sole purpose which is to purchase the product, service or request further information. Smart, very smart. Conclusion: One of the main reasons why Clickbank is so successful and popular could be due to the fact that the CB affiliate is anonymous. This includes: JVZoo, PaySpree, WarriorPlus, ect.
I have determined 6 main reasons why Clickbank is so successful and popular as a (whole): 1.) CB is free to join. 2.) CB processes their own payments. 3.) CB gives a 60 day money back guarantee. 4.) The CB affiliate is anonymous. 5.) Free CB marketing training. 6.) CB is owned by Google.
The best way to promote an affiliate product or service is with a privately hosted landing page, preferably one with a video on it, one where you are describing how beneficial the product and or service was to you.
I have studied the following social network platforms in depth: Facebook, Google Plus, YouTube, Twitter, Myspace, Pinterest.
The main social networks are popular and successful for basically the same reasons. 1.) Free to join. 2.) Free traffic. 3.) Instant chat or messaging functions. 4.) Ability to advertise on the platform instantly. That's about it.
Facebook seems to be the most popular social network online and I cant tell you why because I don't know why. Facebook was originally created for college students to connect and share information but has been taken over by the rest of the world which has made the cofounder and now current owner very rich and very happy.
The other social networks are popular and successful because they let you follow as many users as you want except for Twitter. The best way to get followers at Twitter is to wait until somebody follows you and then follow them back. Same thing with Facebook.
The absolute best way to promote your affiliate link on most social media platforms is with a YouTube video, preferably your own. YouTube videos are considered 'websites' by many networks and ad platforms. The second best way to promote your affiliate program is with a privately hosted landing, (splash), page with a video on it.
I didn't say squeeze page and or lead capture page, I said, "A privately hosted landing,(splash), page with a video on it."
The reason why I don't recommend using a squeeze page or lead capture page is because many lead system domains are being blacklist by the search engines as well as the major social media networks either for violating their terms of service or they claim the advertiser, owner of the lead capture page/system is phishing for visitors personal information. A browser can block websites and webpages for certain reasons.
You can test your website or affiliate link by searching for the top level domain on the search engines and trying to post your referral link and or lead capture page link on your social media profiles. The top level domain is yourleadsystem dot com not yourleadsystem dot com ?me=yourusername. However feel free to test your referral link. If the top level domain is being block the referral link is being blocked.
Classified ad sites like Ablewise are blocking any ad/link that has to do with internet marketing. If your opt-in and or sign-up rate drops to zero over night something is wrong. It's your job and your uplines job to find out why.
You could post 1500 YouTube videos a day on each one of the social media sites that I have mentioned above and no one will say a word to you. They might even give you an award and put you on Good Morning America, you never know. The social networks are extremely YouTube video friendly.
Imagine, you had unlimited hosting and domains at YouTube and weren't aware of it.
Also, advertising sites like Backpage only take two kinds of links: Privately hosted domains, and YouTube video links.
If you are simply promoting your affiliate link at manual traffic exchanges, and the usual advertising exchange sites a simple landing page with or without a video on it will do. I use Brand A Splash splash pages and put a minimum of information on them. You can visit one of my Brand A Splash pages at the link above, no I'm not asking you to join Brand A Splash, it's just an example. However, feel free to join Rebrandable Traffic if the spirit moves you. You get 3 free splash pages with your free membership at easyhits4u, you can use those and put videos on them.
In closing I would like to say that your success as an internet marketer largely depends on your traffic source or sources and that you will find a good organic traffic source extremely useful in the not to distant future, but that is a great subject for another press release.
I hope this post was helpful, good luck with your internet marketing endeavors.
Have a great day.
